Jeff & Joan Beal commit $2 million to the Eastman School for the creation of the Beal Institute for Film Music and Contemporary Media

New commissions:  Beal is scoring both "Light Falls" and "Spooky Action At A Distance" for Brian Greene & the World Science Festival.

Beal was named composer in residence for the Chamber music festival of  Lexington Chamber music festival 2015, and is composing a new work for grammy winning guitarist Jason Vieaux & string quartet.
